A destination wedding is generally considered to be a wedding that is taking place an hour and a half away or more from the home of the couple who is getting married. The event will typically take place over the course of a few days and will include guest accommodations, pre-wedding events such as a welcome gathering and/or rehearsal dinner, arrangement of guest activities/excursions, and possibly a post-wedding event such as a send-off brunch.
This type of wedding planning can become challenging for you with all of the details involved and decisions that have to be made from afar—What venue will you choose? What will your wedding look like? Where will your guests stay? What vendors should you hire? How will all of the details come together and be kept organized? If you live outside of our local area, your get-acquainted session and planning meetings will take place by phone and/or Skype. A sampling of items we will carefully plan with you and manage for you include:
Venue searching, budget planning, vendor and services research and recommendations, options for guest accommodations, venue/vendor/service provider communications and direction, logistical planning, event/event weekend timeline, wedding rehearsal, wedding day management. Essential design assistance to enhance your design concept: Color guidance, linen and décor rental options, tabletop/centerpiece ideas, and suggestions for event personalization.
Additionally, you may opt to have us arrange plans for the events and activities surrounding your wedding day. We typically make one trip to your intended event location prior to your wedding month to do meetings with the venue and vendors to confirm all of your wedding details.

Pricing for our Florida destination wedding planning is determined by your event details such as the number of events to be planned, location(s), size, guest count, special requests, and logistical challenges. A price quote will be customized for you after your get-acquainted session. Pricing starts at $4995 plus travel expenses and accommodations.
